Green is where the Heart Is for November 13, 2013

“When we realize we can make a buck cleaning up the environment, it will be done!”

In 2008 I was perusing the Treehugger website, looking for an additional way to make some extra income and found a company manufacturing amazing products that were efficient, affordable and, of course, environmentally conscious.
This company has been in business since 1985, being green before green was popular.  The products themselves have evolved over the years as new ones are being developed.  What started out as a handful of healthy products, mostly containing the extraordinary effects of tea tree oil, commonly known as Melaleuca, has grown to over 300 options for safe living in all categories including household cleaners, laundry, bath & body, dental, medicine cabinet, beauty products and more.
Breaking old habits is not easy and many of the cleaning products that I used daily were those that my mother used, having a specific cleaner for each different job. My mother did not know about phosphates and pink slime and how our water supply gets contaminated, destroying our precious eco-system.
I thought that you HAD to use things like ammonia, bleach and other dangerous chemicals to kill germs in your home and get things squeaky clean.
I thought you HAD to have many different types of products each cleaning different areas such as one for your tile, one for the tub and a different one for the toilet.  I thought I was a thrifty shopper as I purchased these items at the grocery store when I was doing my regular shopping.
My eyes were open to a whole new way of purchasing when I found this company and five years later I am just as enthralled with these products as when I began.
So besides the health and safety benefits of their products, what makes this company so different?  To begin with the cleaning products are concentrated.  You add a small amount to your spray bottle and fill the rest with water.  Other companies charge you for primarily water. If you did a side-by-side comparison with pricing at Wal-Mart you would find a tremendous savings to other household cleaners.  I get 6 bottles of Tub & Tile for $5.69 and I use it to clean everything in my bathrooms.
The other thing I love about these products is that I order online and they come directly to my home with no middleman.  Shopping on the Internet is definitely the most convenient way to shop with stores open 24 hours a day and requiring no gas fill up in your car.  Consumer direct marketing also means that the money other businesses spend on advertising and marketing in retail stores goes back to satisfied customers like myself who endorse their products and tell others.   Think of Michael Jordan who endorses Nike products.  He doesn’t own the Nike company or sell their products but he does love and use them.  His endorsement pays him very well.  If you are looking for safe, healthy products that really work, I’ve got them for you.  If you want to add time to your busy schedule by the convenience of these products coming directly to your home, I can help you out there, too.  If you, like me, want to add a little extra income to your monthly budget, then maybe this is the way for you, too.
What I know is that I tried the products, LOVED the products and five years later still think they are the best products out there for Healthy, Happy Homes and Offices.
If you are interested in trying them contact me at 330-904-3636 and I will set up an appt to show you the products. Being green doesn’t have to cost more.  In this case it can actually put more ‘greens’ in your pocket!!    xo mo
