Carolina Beach Library News: Summer Family Storytime at the Carolina Beach Library Starting June 11th from 10:30-11:00AM

The Carolina Beach Library will begin their Summer Family Storytime on June 11th from 10:30am until 11:00am. The program will be held Monday through Friday until August 3rd at the Community Center located right next to the Carolina Beach Library. Families are invited for a late morning of stories, finger plays and other literacy enhancing activities. No registration is required but all children should bring an adult chaperone.
Thursday, June 21st from 2:00pm until 3:00pm the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher will present the Frog Prince. This outreach program helps us respect those slimy creatures, just the way they are.
This program is free but registration is required at www.nhclibrary .org. Monday July 9th from 10:30am until 11:30am join Mr Scooter for Big Wave Storytime. Kids will read a story and them walk to the Beach for a UNCW Skim Club Demo! Monday, July 16th from 10:30am until 11:30am Mr. Scooter will host Sandcastle Storytime, following the story attendees will walk to the beach and build a humongous sandcastle together. Please remember to bring your shovels, buckets and strollers!! The Carolina Beach Library is located at 300 Cape Fear Boulevard, they are open Monday, Wednesday, Friday, & Saturdays from 9am-1pm and Tuesday & Thursday from 1pm-5pm and can be reached by calling (910)798-6385.
