New Hanover County Schools Participate in the Seamless Summer Food Service Program

New Hanover County Schools is participating in the Seamless Summer Food Service Program starting Tuesday, June 26, 2012. Nutritional meals will be provided to children 18 years old and younger without charge from June 26 - August 9, 2012. Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals will be provided at the following Wilmington locations at the specified times, operating Monday – Thursday with no meals provided on Fridays. The Seamless Summer Food Service locations are as follows: Freeman School of Engineering, 2601 Princess Place Drive from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.; Creekwood South, 714 Emory Street from 11:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.; Greentree Apartments, 4615 Greentree Road from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.; Hillcrest, 1402 Meares Street from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.; Martin Luther King Center, 401 S. 8th Street from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.; Jervay Communities, 1088 Thomas C. Jervay  Loop from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.;  Vista Village, 1902 Manhattan Avenue from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.; Rankin Terrace, 401 N. 12th Street from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.; Houston Moore, 1805 S. 13th Street from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.; Village at Greenfield, 1400 S. 11th Street from 11:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.; St. Phillip A.M.E. Church, 815 N. 8th Street from 11:15 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.; Snipes Academy of Arts & Design, 2150 Chestnut Street from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.; Mary C. Williams Elementary, 801 Silver Lake Road from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.; Wrightsboro Elementary, 2716 Castle Hayne Road from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.;
