This past Sunday, September 30th marked the 3rd Annual Island Day. Sponsored by the Caroline Beach Arts & Activates Committee and is a cooperative effort between the Pleasure Island Chamber of Commerce, Boardwalk Makeover Group, and the Police, Fire, Public Works, and Parks & Recreation Departments of Carolina Beach and Kure Beaches the event was a huge success despite the onset of some nasty weather! The event was 100% free for everyone in attendance and included free food, treats, refreshments, entertainment and more! Special thanks to all those who participated, those who volunteered and donated to make this event possible!
