This past Monday, February 4th, 2013 students in Mrs. Lookingbill’s Kindergarten class celebrated the 100th day of school! They read stories, counted and decorated beautiful 100th Day Crowns that they sported for the entire day.
As a special surprise Mrs. Lookingbill’s 91-year-old grandmother, the lovely Ms. Mary Barbuzanes or as her family calls her “Yiayia” made a visit. She answered tons of questions and shared her memories of the Civil Right Movement. Students also discussed changes in T.V.’s, telephones, voting, markets, schoolhouses, trolley cars, out houses and electricity.
