CBES Celebrates 75th at Fall Festival

This past Saturday, November 2nd Carolina Beach Elementary School held their Annual Fall Festival. This year at the event the school also recognized its 75th Anniversary. Students and their families enjoyed games, bounce houses, Shriner’s cho-cho train rides, crafts, face painting and more!  As an extra bonus the event boasted a raffle for several themed baskets including a bundle of board games, fishing equipment, sporting goods, event tickets, gardening, pampering just to name a few. The school’s 2nd grade music students held a stellar performance decked out in their best western gear. To wrap up the day, the Federal Point Historic Preservation Society presented Principal Wartel with a new Historical Building Plaque edged in gold paint to honor the school’s 75th! The event would not have been without Carolina Beach Elementary Schools’ PTO, volunteers and staff! All funds raised support the School’s PTO who host different events throughout the year, provide upgrades within the school and donate where needed. To learn how to join Carolina Beach Elementary School’s PTO or find out how you can donate, check out the schools website us/cbes. 75th Anniversary shirts are still on sale! If you would like to order a t-shirt please drop off your $10 at the school along with your name and the size shirt you would like to buy.
