Sunday May 20, 2012 2-6PM – $35.00 per person (4 hours) Aboard the Royal Winner Princess II
The guided tour will include a brief history and location of over 55 known historic sites from Carolina Beach Marina, through Snow’s Cut and down to the mouth of the Cape Fear River. On the way back we will have musical entertainment and local stories. Light snacks will be provided. Your ticket will include a drink ticket good for a soft drink or bottled water. Additional beverages available at the cash bar.

Federal Point Historic Preservation Society Events Calendar Winter/Spring 2012
• Monday April 16, 2012: Membership Meeting. 7:30-9:00 pm Devon Kelly, Senior in Public History, UNC-W will report on her research on the history and the development of the “beach resort.” We will also “open” her exhibit that will run through next summer.
Monday May 21, 2012: Membership Meeting. 7:30-900 pm. Lois Wheatley, author of Images of America, Carolina Beach will share stories about the vintage photographs she has collected in this book just published by Arcadia Books.
Monday June 18, 2012: Potluck Picnic. 6:30 – 8:30 pm Summer Potluck/Picnic. The perfect time to bring friends and prospective members.
