Federal Point Historic Preservation Society Lower Cape Fear River History Cruise May 20th, 2012

Sunday May 20, 2012 2-6PM – $35.00 per person (4 hours) Aboard the Royal Winner Princess II

The guided tour will include a brief history and location of over 55 known historic sites from Carolina Beach Marina, through Snow’s Cut and down to the mouth of the Cape Fear River. On the way back we will have musical entertainment and local stories. Light snacks will be provided. Your ticket will include a drink ticket good for a soft drink or bottled water.  Additional beverages available at the cash bar.
Narration by: Dr. Chris Fonvielle of UNC-W History Department, Richard Lawernce retired from the North Carolina Underwater Archaeology Lab at Fort Fisher, Jack Fryar, publisher of Dram Tree Books  , John Golden, as blockade-runner Captain Roberts, Leslie Bright retired from the North Carolina Underwater Archaeology Lab at Fort Fisher
