A Charity for Meals on Wheels to be held on June 15

Presenting American Music Award Winner and Multi-Platinum Artist RANDY JONES, AKA:  Original Village People Cowboy.  “He is one of the most beloved entertainers and pop icons from the Disco era.  The Cowboy in the Village People has captured the public imagination for decades.”  He has earned 65 Gold and Platinum record certificates, toured worldwide, starred in the camp classic film, “Can’t Stop The Music”, made the cover of the Rolling Stone Magazine and in 2008 and garnered a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame.  Randy Jones is donating his time and talent to help out the homebound elderly!  You can find all this excitement aboard the Royal Winner Princess on Friday, June 15, 2012.  Cruise includes a 3 hour boat ride from Carolina Beach, hors d’oeuvres, dancing, guest entertainment which will include Ariel Wortham, Miss Pleasure Island and Theresa Swain, a professional belly dancer along with a special performance from Mr. Randy Jones complete with back-up dancers.  The night will be filled with good times, 50/50 Raffle and a silent auction from many vendors which includes All American Trim, Arbonne International, Caprice French Bistro Restaurant, Candles, etc…, Cut N Up Hair Salon, David’s Deli, ellen rose designs, Fems Journey, Hair Sensations, Isabella Grape, Ivey Hayes, Kingoff Jeweler’s, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Olive Garden, Paw’s Place, Perry’s Emporium, Preferred Carpet, R&D Design, Reeds Jewelers, Robin Arnauld, Skin Resort, Sterling House, Stevens Hardware, Strandz Hair Salon, Sub Stop, Todd’s Lawn & Landscaping Care and Wilmington Area Rebuilding Ministry.  You may purchase Advance Tickets for $40.00 until May 31st and after June 1st, Tickets are $60.00.  Boarding time is 6:15pm.  Cruise is 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm.  Suggested age is 12 and up and minors must be accompanied by an adult. Cash bar is available.  This has been made possible by the generosity of Perry’s Emporium, P.P.D., Corning, Liberty Commons, Scarless Vein Care by Dr. Karman Gourdarzi, Toyota of Wilmington and United Beach Vacations. Proceeds go to Meals on Wheels Council Inc., and Only 250 tickets will be sold!
