On August 30th. The Wilmington epicurean evening will be held at the convention center. This event benefits the Methodist Home for children. Besides the fact that our very own Havanna's restaurant and Fish Bites restaurant will be competing for this years "copper Kettle" award, There will be a PI package in the live Auction. Many Island business as well as the chamber of Commerce have donated to this package and they should be recognized for their charitable contributions. There is many other ties to Island residents that are significant for the Methodist home for Children. Please contact me for more information. This would make a great story for the Gazette. Thanks, Julie Farriss 910 409-1941. KB resident and MHV committee Volunteer.
