Mini Monets Art Classes
The Recreation Center is offering kids art instruction! Instructor Jennie Wenk is leading these classes every Wednesday from 4:00 - 4:40 pm. Mini Monet Art projects are designed to promote cognitive development, encourage fine motor skills and enhance critical thinking. The lessons are created to encourage creative expression and to supplement the NC Arts Education Curriculum. New Students can join classes at anytime! PI Exercise with Jean Martin
Join Jean Martin for PI Exercise class at the Recreation Center. Class includes a warm up, stretching, balance, strength training, back strengthening and a cool down. Classes meet in the gym every Monday and Wednesday from 9:00 - 10:00 am. Cost is only $1.00 per participant and all participants must have a Recreation Center Membership prior to taking the class. Instructor Sophina Goodall is leading Pilates Classes at the Recreation Center. This is a Pilates Class for all levels of experience. Pilates will increase your strength, flexibility and control of your body. The classes meet every Monday from 9:30 – 10:30 am. All participants must be a Recreation Center Member or pay the daily guest fee prior to attending class. Cost is $8.00 per participant. Zumba© with Gina
Gina Graziani is now instructing Zumba© classes at the Carolina Beach Recreation Center! Zumba© fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program that will blow you away. Participants achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exhilarating hour of caloric-burning, body-energizing movements. Join us Tuesdays from 5:00 – 6:00 pm for Zumba© Fitness and Thursdays from 6:00 – 7:00 pm for Zumba Toning©. Cost is only $5.00 per participant. Carolina Beach Aerobics
The class is a total body workout that combines a 30-minute aerobics segment, along with a weight and abdominal workout. Please bring your own 4-6 pound dumbbells if you have them. This class is a fun and energizing way to exercise for all ages. The class is held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 - 9:00 am. Cost is $2.00 per participant. Power Flow Yoga
Instructor Carly LaBruno is leading Power Flow Yoga class that explores advanced yoga postures. This is designed for intermediate to advanced fitness levels with a focus on increasing flexibility and core strength. Class is every Saturday from 10:00 am - 11:00 am. The cost is $8.00 per class. Alignment Based Yoga Class
Join instructor Holli Cavalluzzi, ERYT, for Alignment Based Yoga class. All classes explore biomechanical alignment principles; we will work with a particular alignment principle in every pose throughout the class and, where work turns to play, we share the potential resources available through friendship. Classes are open to all levels of experience, are challenging at times and always healing. Classes are every Tuesday from 9:30 - 11:00 am. Classes are $10.00 per participant. Feel Good Flow Vinyasa Yoga
Mandy Nicolau is instructing a new all-level Yoga Class! During this practice, the asanas (postures) are linked together in a series of movements that are synchronized with the breath. You will not only enjoy the muscle strength, endurance, flexibility and stress reduction that all yoga has to offer but also get the added cardiovascular benefits from the continuous movements.

Brian Demarco Williams hosting Basketball by the Sea Camp
Brian Demarco Williams is coaching our Spring Break Sports Sampler Camp. Prepare your athlete for Spring and Summer sports and activities with this weeklong camp. The camp will focus on introducing your child to the fundamentals of Flag Football, Soccer, Basketball, and Baseball/T-Ball. The last day will be a round robin tournament that will incorporate all of the sports. Camp will be March 25th – 29th from 9:00 am until 3:30 pm. Cost is only $115 per camper (and $99 per sibling). Registration after March 11th is $150 per camper.

Zumba Gold© with Kathy Senna
This class is great for Zumba© beginners and participants that like a slower pace. Kathy Senna is instructing classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 – 10:00 am in our basketball courts.
Kathy is a retired Health and Physical Education teacher with 36 years experience and a Master’s degree in Exercise Science. Zumba Gold© is a lower impact, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired dance fitness-party that keeps you in the groove of life.
Cost is only $6.00 per participant or you can purchase a 5-class package for only $25.00.

Gentle Beginner Yoga
Have you wanted to try yoga but have been afraid that you aren’t flexible enough? If so, this all new gentle beginner’s class is for you! Join Tamara Cairns as she introduces yoga basics in a calm and meditative environment. Take an hour for yourself, slowing down life’s pace and learning the basics of this ancient healing art. This class will focus on accurate alignment in level 1 & 2 yoga postures with suggested modifications available for every age and skill level. Classes are every Friday from 9:30 am - 10:30 am. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to class beginning. Cost is $8.00 per class. Participants can also purchase a 5-class punch card for only $35.00.
