Carolina Beach State Park News: Migratory Bird Day coming May 11th

Come celebrate International Migratory Bird Day with the staff at Carolina Beach State Park. There will be fun activities for the whole family. Bird hikes, presentations from the painted bunting observation team, bird banding demonstrations, kids crafts, and more. Come out early and stay the whole day. Reservations are required. • 7:30 a.m. - Early Morning Bird Hike, Meet at Picnic Area
• 9:00 a.m. - Bird Banding Demonstration, Meet at First Parking Lot at Marina.
• 10:00 a.m. - Carnivorous Plant Hike, Meet at Flytrap Trail Parking Lot
• 11:00 a.m. - Painted Bunting Presentation, Meet in Visitor Center Auditorium
• 1:00 p.m. - Painted Bunting Presentation (repeat), Meet in Visitor Center Auditorium
• 2:00 p.m. - Birding Craft – Make your own Binoculars      Meet on back deck of Visitor Center
