Pleasure Island Youth Baseball News: Kids Pitch Bobcats and Machine Pitch Tigersharks take the 2013 Tournament Championships

Last week Pleasure Island Youth Baseball finished out their Championship matches for both Kids Pitch and Machine Pitch Leagues. Round one of Kids Pitch pitted Buffalo Wild Wings against Island Electric and Shuckin’ Shack against the Lazy Pirate.
Both were very close games but only two teams went to the next round playing Buffalo Wild Wings against the Shuckin’ Shack. Buffalo Wild Wings Bobcats took the win for the 2013 Kid Pitch Tournament Championship. After a rain delay Machine Pitch was finally able to finish out their season with the Pleasure Island Chamber Pirates playing against Red Fern Designs Tigersharks. Once again this was another close game but the Tigersharks took the win at the Championship Game with a 9-7 victory.  All Stars information is as follows: Machine Pitch 8U will play in the district tournament June 27-30 at Supper Optimist at Ogden Park and then the state tournament July 5-8 in Laurinburg NC. 9U Kid Pitch will play in the district tournament June 27-30 at Supper Optimist at Ogden Park and then the state tournament July 11-14 in Winterville NC. 12U Kid Pitch team will play in the state tournament July 11-14 in Roanoke Rapids NC.
