Step into Unique Boutique and you will find some of the most eclectic and exciting fashions on the island. Susan Ywaskevic, owner, says she loves the cutting edge styles of small, independent labels and is particularly drawn to the innovative and striking styles of California. Unique Boutique features trendy styles from Habitat, Wind River, El Huarache, Lily and many more.
Arriving daily are women’s bathing suits, perfect to fit any body shape or match any color palette. The hot trend for this summer is the high-low sundress. The unique feature of these dresses is the skirt is shorter in the front and the hemline tapers down in the back to hang lower than the front. They are often varied in color so that the visible underside of the skirt complements or shows off the entire sundress, giving the ensemble a three dimensional effect
Hot for summer are beach bags. Whether using them for a purse, or to carry essentials to and from the beach, Unique Boutique has a wide variety of styles to choose from. Animal prints have made a comeback this year and they have anything from satchels to sandals with the popular design. Also available to Unique Boutique, located at 207 S Lake Park Blvd in Carolina Beach, are many of the styles and fashions as seen at the Island of Lights Fashion Show held Saturday, March 31.  The boutique is nothing short of unique, with colorful and eclectic trends that will surely highlight one’s personality and flair. In addition to women’s clothing, there is a great selection of accessories, shoes and jewelry, along with some unique children’s clothes.
