Kure Beach, NC – Limited space remains for businesses and organizations to reach thousands at the 11th annual “Trick-or-Treat Under the Sea.” Hosted by the N.C. Aquarium at Fort Fisher, the 2012 event will again be two nights, 5 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24 and Thursday, Oct. 25.
Businesses are invited to promote business by sponsoring a booth and interacting with families in the community at this fun and popular event. “Trick or Treat Under the Sea” features indoor trick-or-treating, games and programs for children and families. More than 4,000 people attended in 2011. Booth reservation is available for $75. Businesses participating both evenings benefit from a $10 discount. Vendors may attend one or both nights. Sponsors decorate booths and provide enough treats for the hundreds of children expected each night. The Aquarium is again partnering with Green Halloween, a community initiative to create child- and Earth-friendly holiday traditions. As a result, vendors using eco-friendly materials garner higher scores for the Best Booth Contest. Best Booth winners receive prizes and public recognition, including exposure to thousands of Aquarium friends online.
Booth sponsorships are available first-come, first-served. For more information or to register, call Special Events Coordinator Emily Clark at 910-458-8257 ext. 218.
