The Island Gazette is pleased to announce the return of Steve Johnston, who has recently joined Network Real Estate’s Pleasure Island office. Steve, a resident of the region since 1979, has held his Real Estate License since 1984. He was the Director of Marketing for Carolina Savings Bank and assisted in conversion of the former Battery Restaurant to a branch that was located in what is now the Carolina Beach BB&T. He began his real estate career on the island as a site agent and later joined an agency on the beach as an independent broker. Thought his office is located on the beach, Steve provides his clients with services in the three county region of New Hanover, Pender and Brunswick.
Steve had stepped out of the real estate business to form a corporation that manufactures a Aunt Ellie’s Salad Dressing & Marinade. He recently become active after giving much thought to which agency he would join.
He chose Network Real Estate based on their history of providing excellent real estate services to area residents for over 30 years. He also said that his many years of banking and mortgage lending experience combine nicely with his knowledge of real estate, allowing him to offer a complete service to his clients. “Real estate is poised for a turn around, but into a more reasonable pre-bubble market.”
