The Living Word Full Gospel Church near Monkey Junction is a “Spirit Filled Church experiencing a mighty move of God!” They are happy to be serving the local community with their ministry and would like to introduce you to their pastor, Bobby Wilson. “I would like to take this opportunity to introduce my wife and myself to you. Together we pastor Living Word Full Gospel Fellowship in Wilmington, NC.
I was a full time employee of A&B Glass Co. for several years then moving over to Standard Glass for the last part of my secular world career of 25 years. My wife Leslie had a career as Medical Transcript for New Hanover Regional Medical Center. In the early years of my life I was raised Southern Baptist and learned a lot about God.
In 1984 I received the baptism of the Holy Ghost and knew this would change my life forever.
I was a member of Ocean Way First Assembly of God and continued there for the next 14 years to receive some of the most anointed preaching of my life. In 1992, I Knew I was called to minister. I started studying thru the organization Living Word of Faith, located in Panama City, Fla. In 1993, I started my preaching career as a prison ministry at 025 in Wilmington, NC. This outreach ministry for First Assembly of God continued for 5 years. In 1995, I was ordained thru the Living Word of Faith. In 1998, I felt God was leading me to pastor a church of my own. Still employed at Standard Glass and my wife still employed we decided it was time to take on this challenge. On February 1, 1998 we had our first church service in the living room of our home. After a just a few weeks growth we had to move outside to the garage and soon overflowed into the yard. It was time to find more space. We found a building in Belville, NC, that should have been condemned, but with lots of labor, many prayers, and God’s help we held our first service there in May. We were there until 2005, since that time we have moved to have the space for our ministry.”
