Beginning Feb. 1, Havana's Carolina Beach will be open seven days a week for lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch.
Both Havana's (Wilmington and Carolina Beach) will be taking reservations for Valentine’s Day. They will offer their regular menu along with a variety of chef specials. You can expect that the chefs will be cooking up a special lovers’ dessert for two along with fresh lobster, the freshest fish available and slow roasted prime rib. Havana’s will run its Valentine’s dinner specials Friday and Saturday nights, Feb. 14 and 15.
Havana’s in Caroline Beach is set in an old 1916 beach cottage. There is plenty of outside and inside seating and attention to detail is placed in every part of the restaurant. Their friendly service and polished island atmosphere will make you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in the door.
Sunday brunch is always a local favorite with their famous chef's slow roasted prime rib being served every Friday and Saturday night. Chef Charlie Blake and General Manager Mike MaGee are passionate about delivering the best of dining experience. All menu items and daily specials are prepared using only the freshest ingredients available. The culinary team creates all dishes from scratch and can modify many menu items due to allergies and preference.
Start your meal with their winning clam chowder you can get it by the cup, bowl or by the quart, they also offer French onion soup, crispy calamari and their volcano shrimp. They also offer pasta dinners such as Carbonara is smoked bacon, peas and mushrooms sautéed in a cream sauce over four cheese tortellini or try French Quarter is Andouille sausage, grilled chicken, shrimp and fettuccini tossed in a creole cream sauce. Their salads come with choice of sweet pear vinaigrette, raspberry vinaigrette, balsamic vinaigrette, blue cheese, honey mustard or ranch dressings try their Mediterranean salad it is a robust Greek salad with grilled vegetables tosse d in Feta cheese vinaigrette. Then there is the local favorites which include some of these dishes, Seafood Paella is a classic Spanish dish with sausage, mussels, shrimp and scallops tossed in a chicken broth risotto, or how about Coca-Cola steak tips which is grilled Coca-Cola marinated choice steak tips served with smashed potatoes or broiled salmon stuffed with lump crab and topped with a lemon butter caper sauce.
