CAROLINA BEACH - It’s time again for the Annual Golf Tournament to benefit the Carolina Beach Police Blue Liners Foundation & the Nephcure Foundation. This year’s event will be held Friday, September 28th at the Masonboro Country Club.
It’s currently the final week to register so if you haven’t yet signed up your team, do it today! This Captains Choice style tournament always brings out tons of people for a beautiful day with family friends and neighbors all to benefit two wonderful nonprofit organizations.
Registration will be at 8:00 a.m. on the day of the event followed by a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. If you aren’t confident in your golfing skills don’t worry, there are still other ways you can participate. The event is currently seeking businesses and individuals who would like to help sponsor the event. There are several levels of Sponsorship available, “Eagle” $2,500 (Tow Foursomes), Company name and logo on the sign at tee, continental breakfast and lunch, golfer gifts, recognition plaque and beverages and beer during tournament. “Birdie” $1,000 (Tow Foursomes) Company name and logo on sign at tee, continental breakfast and lunch, recognition plaque and free beverages and beer during tournament. “Executive: $500 (One Foursome) Company name and logo on the sign at tee, continental breakfast and lunch, and free beverages and beer during tournament. “Foursome: $400 (One Foursome) Continental breakfast and lunch, and free beverages and beer during tournament. “”Hole Sponsor” $150, includes one 18x24 sign with individual name or corporate logo. Please include business card or camera ready logo with your payment. In addition to sponsors the event is also seeking anyone who can volunteer.
They will also be having a “Helicopter Drop 50/50”, for the non-golfers. The person whose ball lands closest to the hole or goes in will win, tickets will be sold in advanced for $20 for 5 balls.
