Carolina Beach Police Officers Stop Man From Jumping Off Snow's Cut Bridge

From the Town of Carolina Beach Police Department's Facebook page on August 3rd:

Positive story about our officers: While on routine patrol in the early morning hours of Wednesday, July 31st, Ofc. S. Baize, observed a young man on the railing of Snow's Cut Bridge. Ofc. Baize stopped his vehicle and proceeded to cross lanes of traffic to approach the individual. The young man told him to stay back because he was prepared to jump. Ofc. Baize was able to distract him while Cpl. J. Harvey snuck up behind the young man and grabbed him off the railing and pulled him to safety. This young man's life was saved due to the swift thinking and incredible team work between Ofc. Baize and Cpl. Harvey. We are very proud to have these 2 officers representing the Carolina Beach Police Department. Job well done guys!
