Chamber of Commerce To Hold Candidates Forum October 30th

CAROLINA BEACH - The Pleasure Island Chamber Of Commerce and the Pleasure Island Foundation for a Sustainable Community invites you to participate in a non-partisan political forum with the candidates for Municipal Office in Carolina Beach.
You can attend this important forum and still vote early.
Si Cantwell of Star News Media and Ben Brown of Port City Daily will serve as the Moderators of this event.
What are the issues that are most important to you?
Please submit your questions and concerns to the Pleasure Island Chamber at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
According to Greg Reynolds of the Chamber of Commerce, "Questions should be written to be asked equally and fairly of all candidates. Personal attacks and individual questions will not be considered. Please let us hear from you. We look forward to all of our candidates presenting their Visions and Views for the seat they are seeking.
We will have a short meet and greet from 6:30-7:00, followed by the first half of the forum featuring questions for the candidates for Council followed by a brief break and then the Mayoral candidates will take the stage and share their thoughts with their constituents."
Visions and Views 2013 for Carolina Beach will be held at the Courtyard Marriott Carolina Beach on Wednesday, October 30th from 6:30-9:30 pm. WLTT Port City Radio (93.7 and 106.3) will tape the event and rebroadcast starting on Thursday, October 31st on all four Hometown Wilmington Media stations as well as Beach TV (Charter Channel 3) filming for rebroadcast starting Friday, November 1st and running through the election.
