Election Day is Tuesday November 5th.
Citizens should make it their top priority to head to the polls and exercise their right to participate in selecting who will have the power to make decisions on their behalf.
This is the opportunity to participate in democracy.
One Stop Absentee voting for the 2013 Municipal Elections began on October 17th 2013 and ends on November 2nd 2013. One-Stop Absentee voting will be conducted at the New Hanover County Board of Elections office at 230 Government Center Drive in Suite 39. Below are the times available for One-Stop Absentee voting.
Monday- Friday 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM
Saturday (November 2, 2013)- 8:00 AM-1:00 PM

Since early voting began, 506 people have voted as of October 22nd.
Municipal Election Day is November 5, 2013. Polls will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
A candidates forum will be held by the Pleasure Island Chamber of Commerce on October 30th, from 6:30PM to 9:30PM at the Courtyard Marriott in Carolina Beach at 100 Charlotte Avenue.
The event is to be a non-partisan political forum with the candidates for Carolina Beach municipal offices.
