In the surf catching a few black drum, flounder, pompano, a few Virginia mullet, croaker, bluefish, sharks, and stingrays. On the piers catching a few Virginia mullet, flounder, bluefish, a few small spots, croaker, spadefish, sheepshead, sharks, and stingrays. Due to all the fresh water from all the rain we've had coming down the Cape Fear River the inland bite has really slowed down. However we are still catching a few flounder, red and black drum, sheepshead, speckled trout, bluefish, ladyfish, croakers, pigfish, black bass, and lots of sharks and stingrays. Keep fishing and stay safe.
