Hey hey hey!  It’s a beautiful day!  Looks like the Flounder bite is on!. They’re biting well on live mullet, menhaden and Gulp.
On the piers they’re picking up flounder, whiting, spadefish, a few spots, bluefish, croakers, a few black drum, sheepshead, stingrays, and sharks.
In the surf we’re catching red and black drum, flounder, bluefish, small pompano, stingrays, and sharks. And in the river and ICW you can catch flounder red drum, black drum, sheepshead, speckled and gray trout,  The river is providing a few nice size whiting, small cobia and lots of croakers, small black bass, sharks, and stingrays.
Be safe, use your sunscreen, and take a kid fishing!

Sharon Myers of Thomasville snagged this doormat using live bait just off the North End of Carolina Beach.

Got-em-on had over 100 entries in their Flounder Points Tournament on August 3rd.
Winner (right to left) were Luke Donat, Cheri Dial, Jim Dial, Ken Pearson, and Nick Scuorzo.  Congratulations!
