Ashley Screaming Eagles Football are to much for Trask

The Screaming Eagles Football team picked up a convincing win on the Road at Track this past Friday Night. After giving up a Touchdown early in the cam on a 49-yard run the Eagles defense allowed just 1 more Touchdown, while their offense scored a impressive 42-points. The Eagles were able to tie up the game shortly after Trask scored on a 61-yard run by Quincy Rhodes.
In the 2nd quarter Quincy Rhodes goes ran in his 2nd touchdown of the game from 20-yards out and after the extra point the Eagles were ahead 14-7. The Eagles then added to their led on a 17-yard run by Chris Kane giving them a 21-7 advantage. Ashley was able to pick up 1 more score before half time after Eagles QB Kane scored from almost 50-yards out, giving the Eagles a sizeable halftime lead 28-7.
Trask picked up their 2nd score of the game on a mistake by the Eagles to start the 2nd half bring them within 2-Touchdowns 28-14. After that the Eagles got another touchdown minutes later on a Anthony Andrews 16-yard run, 35-14 Ashley.
The final score of the game came on another Andrews run. The Eagles went on to win by a final score of 42-14 improveing their record to 1-2 on the season. The Eagles will be hosting a game with Topsail High School next Friday Night.
HIGHLIGHTS: Quincy Rhodes 24 carries for 285 Yards and 2 touchdowns, Chris Kane 17 carries for 130 yards and 2 touchdowns, Anthony Andrews  6 carries for 46 yards and 2 touchdowns, Jess Jewell 4 carries for 39 yards, Khalil Trusdale 1 carry for 18 yards, Trey Eller 1 carry for 11 yards. Total Running 57 runs for 540 yards. Chris Kane 3 for 5 passing for 60 yards. Trey Eller 2 receptions for 23 wards, Anthony Andrews 1 reception for 37 yards. All 5 extra points made by Cameron Cairnet. Leading Tackles were: Spencer Gregory 8, Victory Ortiz with a forced fumble and a interception, and Markous Ballard with a Fumble.
