Boys Varsity Basketball come up short in final quarter against 71st

The Screaming Eagles Boys Varsity Basketball Team was in a close game for their Home Open this past Friday Night. The Eagles found themselves behind by just a point after the 1st quarter, however by halftime they were able to tie up the game at 28-28.
After the halftime break the Eagles Basketball team was able to take the lead 40-37 after outscoring 71st 12-9 in the 3rd quarter. However the Eagles weren’t able to put the game away with 71st. The Eagles drop to 1-1 on their season. The Eagles Boy’s will have home games on Thursday, December 6th against West Brunswick and Friday, December 7th against Jacksonville. Before traveling to Jack Britt next Tuesday, December 11th.
