By the end of the 1st overtime both teams were again locked in at 66-66. In the 2nd overtime the Eagles were up 75-72 with under a minute left in the game, but West Brunswick’s Gray Cheers wanted to make sure they had at least 1 more overtime period and connected on a 3-pointer with time expiring. In the 3rd Overtime period the Eagles were firing on all cylinders, as the Eagles were able to feed the ball to their big man T.J. Williams who had several quality dunks to start the period. The Eagles also hit some clutch free throws and stepped up their defense allowing just 4-points. The Eagles closed out the 3rd overtime period with a 14-4 run to take the win. The Eagles had to shoot some free throws in this game: with 22 free throws in regulation and 25 more in the overtime periods and connected on 28 of them.
