After close loss to Cape Fear Lady Eagles Lacrosse has won 2 straight

• 4/6 – Ashley 17 Cape Fear 18 – The Lady Eagles suffered their 3rd loss of the season in a close to Cape Fear Academy this past Wednesday night. HIGHLGIHTS: Maddie Antor had 4 goals and a assist; Peyton LeCompte had 3 goals and a assist; Penka Heusinkveld and Natalee Kasdan each had 2 goals and 2 assists; Amie Efting had 3 goals; Heather Talton had 2 goals and a assist; Abigail Efting had a point. In goal Kelsey Meadows had 14 saves out of 32 shots.
• 4/11 – Ashley 23 Havelock 5 – The Lady Eagles Varsity Lacrosse team was hard to stop in this game as they posted 23 goals of the 32 shots they took. With over 18 assist it was definitely a team effort. The win improved the Eagles record to 7-3 overall on their season. HIGHLIGHTS: Heather Talton has a impressive 10 assist and 1 goal; Peyton LeCompte had 5 goals of the 6 she shot and 3 assists; Natalee Kasdan had 3-points and 2 assists; Amie Efting had 4 goals; Johanna Carenbauer, Maddie Antor, and Felecity Havens each had 2 goals; Abigail Efting had a goal and a assits; Kaley Smith and Maggie Skelton each had a goal and Cassie Snow had a assist. In goal Kelsey Meadows had 7 saves out of 12 shots.
• 4/12 – Ashley 24 Topsail 3 – The Lady Eagles dominated this game with 24 goals on 28 shots they took. The Ladies defense allowed just 3 goals and only 8 shots on their goal, in which Kelsey Meadows was able to save 5 of them. HIGHLIGHTS: The Ladies made all but 4 of their shots they made at the goal. Heather Talton had 5 shots and 5 assists; Natalee Kasdan had 4 goals and 6 assists; Peyton LeCompte had 7 goals and a assist; Penka Heusinkveld had 2 goals and a assist; Maddie Antor had 2 goals; Cassie Snow, Johanna Carenbauer, Abigail Efting and Ashley Merit had a goal each; & Felecity Havens had a assist.
• 4/15 - Ashley 18 Cape Fear 11 - On Monday, April 15, the Ashley Screaming Eagles Women's Lacrosse Team hosted the Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes for their second meeting of the season.  Cape Fear scored the first goal and then Ashley had 3 quick goals and took the lead and never looked back.  Junior Peyton LeCompte lead the Screaming Eagles with 8 goals and 3 assists.  Anna Corcoran lead the Hurricanes with 8 goals.  Final Ashley 21 Cape Fear 16. HIGHLIGHTS: Ashley: Peyton LeCompte 8 goals/3 assists, Maddie Antor 7 goals, Natalie Kasdan 3 goals/4 assists, Amie Efting 2 goals, Felecity Havens 1 goal/2 assists, Heather Talton 5 assists and Abigail Efting 1assist. A - Kelsey Meadows 26 SOG/10 Saves.
