Pleasure Island Soccer Association Spring Recreation League has just 1 Week Left

In the U6 Girl’s Division after starting out the season in last place the Island Gazette moved into a tie for 1st Place this week after their 4-0 win over Ribbet Salomn.

Scores from Week 9:
• Girls U6 – 1st Place on the season will be decided Saturday in this league after a competitive season. Signal can secure 1st Place with 2 wins, however they have to defeat Ribbet Salon, which beat them earlier in the season 5-3. Ribbet Salon can take 1st Place with a win and a Island Gazette loss or tie. The Island Gazette can take 1st Place with a win loss or a tie by Signal. April 24th – Ribbet Salon and Harris Teeter ended their game in a 0-0 tie. In the 2nd game the Island Gazette was able to improve their record to 5-2-1 after shutting out Dr. Skip & Dr. Steph Ug Girl’s 2-0. The other game on the day was moved to another day after both coach’s agreed to re-schedule. April 28th – Signal was able to improve their record to 6-2 after their 5-0 shutout win over Dr. Skip & Dr. Steph U6 Girls. In the 2nd game the Island Gazette was able to move into a tie for 1st Place with a 6-2-1 record after shutout win over Ribber Salon 4-0. In the final game on the day Harris Teeter was able to stay in the hunt for 1st Place after their 3-1 win over Blue Tone Media.
• Boys U6 – April 28th – Dr. Skip & Dr. Steph U6 Boys were able to advance to the Championship Game after their 3-1 win over Tumble Gym. Also advance to the Consolation Championship Game was Rent-A-Johns after their 3-1 win over Got-Em-On-Live. Pleasure Island Insurance was able to fill the other spot in the Consolation Championship Game next weekend after their 4-2 win over Crossley McIntosh & Collier. Taking the other spot in the Championship Game was C.B.P.D. after their 4-0 shutout win over Simply Play. Check the website for all the game times and updates on weather delays or cancelations.
• Girl’s U7 – April 28th – Kate’s Pancake House was able to improve to 7-1 after their 2-0 shutout win over Beach Charms. In the other game Masonboro Family Medicine was able to improve to 3-4-1 on their season after their 4-0 shutout over Chick-Fil-A.
• Boy’s U7 – April 28th – Hibachi Bistro was able to remain just a game behind Kidsville News after their 5-1 win over 4 Seasons Demo & Site. Kidsville News was able to remain unbeaten at 7-0-1 after their 1-0 shutout win over Cori McQueen –SeaCoasty Realty.
• Girl’s U8 – April 24th – Crossfit Wilmington continued their perfect season winning their 6th game 3-0 over 2n Place Krazy Kones. The win also clinched 1st Place in the Season for Crossfit Wilmington. In the other game Seahawks Soccer Camps was able to improve their record to 3-3-1 after their close 3-2 win over Bachert Builds. April 28th – Seahakws Soccer Camps improved their record to 5-2-1 and clinched 3rd Place in the Regular Season after their 3-0 shutout win over Pleasure Island Insurance.  In the final game Krazy Kones was able to clinch 2nd Place in their Regular Season with their 4-0 shutout win over Bachert Builds.
• Boy’s U8 – NOT UPDATED.
• Girl’s U10 - WHITE – April 24th – ZIP ZAP and Starling Marine ended their game in a 0-0 tie. In the 2nd game Constructive Building Solutions was able to improve to 2-4-1 on their season after their 3-1 win over Beds Plus Kids.
• Girl’s U10 - RED – April 28th – This is another competitive division with a 4-2 win over NRL Builders The Fuzzy Peach was able to move into a tie for 1st Place with Papa John’s Pizza both have 5-3-1 records. In the 2nd game Papa’s John’s was able to defeat Subsurface Support (who was in 1st Place last week), in a close game 3-2. Next week Papa John’s and The Fuzzy Peach will play for 1st. 
• Boy’s U10 – April 25th – Hanover Jewelry & Pawn was able to improve their record to 2-3-1 with their 3-2 win over Faircloth Electric. April 28th – State Farm – David Ward was able to advance to the Division 1 Finals after their 6-0 shutout over Hanover Jewelry & Pawn. In the 2nd game Coastwalk Real Estate was also able to advance to the Division 1 Finals after their close 2-1 win over Andy’s Cheeseburger’s.  Faircloth Electric was able to advance to the Division 2 Finals after their 2-1 win over Buffalo Wild Wings. In the 2nd game Byrnes Services was also able to advance to the Division 2 Finals after their 4-1 win over Wilmington Lawn & Leisure.
• Girl’s U12 – April 28th – Feisol Tripods was able to stay in 1st Place after their final game ending their season with a 6-2 record after their 3-2 win over Carolina Sports Medicene. Shallotte Shock was able to stay just a point behind Feisol Tripods with 1 game remaining after their 3-0 shutout win over State Farm – Thomas Murphy. Bass built was able to stay in the hunt for 3rd Place with a 4-2-1 record after there 3-0 shutout over Sweet Bliss. In the final game on the day Siena Tratttoria was able to stay in 3rd Place with a 5-1 win over Seacoast Engineering, PC.
• Boy’s U12 – April 24th – Michael’s Seafood was able to keep their unbeaten season alive at 5-0-1 with their 5-3 win over Islander Kwik Mart. In the other game Joseph Jamison, DDS was able to remain close behind Michael’s Seafood after their close 5-4 win over Irongates Partners. April 28th – Irongates Partners was able to improve to 2-4-1 on their season after defeating Pop’s Diner 5-2. In the other game Michael’s Seafood was able to take 1st Place in the Regular Season after their close 2-1 win over 2nd Place Jospeh Jamison, DDS.
• Boy’s U14 – April 25th – Shuckin Shack was able to clinch 1st Place in the Regular Season with a 7-0-1 record after their 2-1 win over Buffalo Wild Wings. April 28th – Trophy Rides was able to improve their record to 3-5 after their close 4-3 win over Moe’s.
• Boys U18 – April 25th – Beds Plus improved to a perfect 5-0 on their season and clinched 1st Place in the Regular Season after their 5-1 win over Buffalo Wild Wings. April 28th -  Beds Plus won their 6th game of the season 5-1 over E.W.E.
