Pleasure Island Soccer Association Spring Recreation League wraps up Spring Season

The Island Gazette and Harris Teeter’s U6 Girls battled to 0-0 tie with 15 seconds left in the game. When some how Harris Teeter sent a nice shot in at the last second.

• Girls U6 – Signal had the 1st game of the day and need a win to take the Regular Season and a 4-0 shutout to make sure no other team had a chance to catch them and the did just that defeating Ribbet Salon 4-0 to take the 1st Place Trophy. In the 2nd game Dr. Skip & Dr Steph U6 Girls were able to pick up their 1st win of the season after defeating Blue Tone Media. In the final game of the day and the season the Island Gazette and Harris Teeter played yet another close game. With seconds remaining in the game Harris Teeter was able to get a shot past the Island Gazette’s goalie with 1 second left on the clock. 1st Place Signal 7-2-1, 2nd Harris Teeter 6-2-2, 3rd Island Gazette 6-3-1, 4th Ribbet Salon 6-3-1, 5th Dr. Skip & Dr. Steph 1-8-1, and 6th Blue Tone Media 0-8-2.
• Boys U6 – In the Division 2 Consolation Game Crossley McIntosh & Collier was able to defeat Got-Em-On by a final score of 4-2. In the Division 2 Finals Pleasure Island Insurance was able to shutout Rent-A-Johns 2-0. In the Division 1 Consolation game Tumble Gym was able to win a close game with Simply Play 2-1. In the Championship Game C.B.P.D. was able to finish out their impressive Season with a 4-1 win over Dr. Skip & Dr. Steph U6 Boys to take the Regular Season Trophy.
• Girl’s U7 – Masonboro Family Medicine was able to win their final game of the season after shutting out Kate’s Pancake House 2-0. In the 2nd game of the day Chick-Fil-A was able to pick up their 3rd win of the season after shutting out Beach Charms 2-0. 1st Place Kate’s Pancake House 7-2, 2nd Masonboro Family Medicine 4-4-1, 3rd Place Chick-Fil-A 3-5-1, and 4th Place Beach Charms 2-5-1.
• Boy’s U7 – Kidsville News was able to improve their final record to 8-0-1 after defeating 2nd Place Hibachi Bistro by a final score of 2-1. The final game of the day saw Cori McQueen – SeaCoast Realty end in a 3-3 tie. 1st Place Kidsville News 8-0-1, 2nd Place Hibachi Bistro 6-2-1, 3rd Place 4 Seasons Site & Demo 2-6-1, and 4th Place Cori McQueen – SeaCoast Realty 0-8-1.
• Girl’s U8 – Krazy Kones was able to win their final game of the season after defeating Seahawks Soccer Camps 3-1. In the other game Crossfit Wilmington finished out their regular season with a 6-0 shutout over Pleasure Island Insurance. 1st Place Crossfit Wilmington 8-0, 2nd Place Krazy Kones 6-2, 3rd Place Seahawks Soccer Camps 3-4-1, 4th Place Bachert Builds 2-6, and 5th Place Pleasure Island Insurance 0-7-1.
• Boy’s U8 – April 28th – Uncle Vinny’s won their 1st game of the season after shutting out El Cazador 4-0. In the 2nd game Amnesty International and Firehouse Subs finished in a 0-0 tie. May 5th – Uncle Vinny’s won their 2nd game of the season 3-2 over Firehouse Subs. In the 2nd game of the season Amnesty International was able to win 1st Place on the season after their 6-0 shutout win over 2nd Place Admirals Quarters. 1st Place Amnesty International 7-0-1, 2nd Place Admirals Quarter’s 6-2, 3rd Place El Cazador 2-7, 4th Place Uncle Vinny’s 2-5-1, and 5th Place Firehouse Subs 1-5-2.
• Girl’s U10 - WHITE – ZIP ZAP was able to finish out their Regular Season with a 4-0 shutout win over Constructive Building Solutions. The 2nd game of the day saw Wethrill Family Dentistry win their final game of the season 3-0 over Beds Plus kids. 1st Place ZIP ZAP 7-0-1, 2nd Place Wethrill Family Dentistry 6-2, 3rd Place Starling Marine 2-4-3, 4th Place Constructive Building Solutions 2-5-1, and Beds Plus Kids 0-7-1.
• Girl’s U10 - RED – NRL Builders was able to win their final game of the season 5-1 over Subsurface Support. In the other game between tied for 1st Place Fuzzy Peach and Papa John’s Pizza Papa John’s was able to take the win giving him 1st Place in the Regular Season. 1st Place Papa’s John’s 6-3-1, 2nd Place Fuzzy Peach 5-4-1, 3rd Place Subsurface Support 3-4-3, and 4th Place NRL Builders 3-6-1.
• Boy’s U10 – Buffalo Wild Wings won the Division 2 Consolation Game 3-2. IFaircloth Electric won their last 2 games of the season, including the last game in the Division 2 Finals 3-1 over Byrnes Services. Scores for the other 2 games were not turned in.
• Girl’s U12 – Comfort Suites – Magnolia Greens was able to win their final game of the season after shutting out State Farm – Thomas Murphy 2-0. In the 2nd game on the day Carolina Sports Medicine was able to pick up their 3rd win of the season after shutting out Seacoast Engineering, PC 5-0. In the 3rd game on the day Siena was able to go ahead of Bass Built in the standings after the 2-1 win. In the final game of the season Shallotte Shock and Sweet Bliss finished in a 2-2 tie. 1st Place was FEISOL Tripods 6-2, 2nd Place Shallotte Shock 5-0-3, 3rd Place Siena Trattoria 5-2-1, 4th Place Sweet Bliss 4-2-2, 5th Place Bass Built 4-3-1, 6th Place Carolina Sports Medicine 3-4-1, 7th Place State Farm – Thomas Murphy 2-6-1, and 8th Place Seacoast Engineering, PC 0-8.
• Boy’s U12 – Michael’s Seafood finished out their regular season with only one tie on their season after defeating Irongates Partners 3-0. In the 2nd game on the day Islanders Kwik Mart picked up their 1st win of the season 7-3 over Pop’s Diner. 1st Place Michael’s Seafood 7-0-1, 2nd Place Joseph Jamison, DDS 5-2-1, 3rd Place Irongates Partners 3-4-1, 4th Place Islanders Kwik Mart 1-4-3, and 5th Place Pop’s Diner 1-5-2.
• Boy’s U14 – Buffalo Wild Wings was able to pick up their 4th win of the season after shutting out Moe’s 3-0. In the 2nd and final game of the season Shuckin Shack was able to finish out their season unbeaten after their 3-1 win over Trophy Rides. 1st Place Shuckin Shack 8-0-1, 2nd Place Buffalo Wild Wings 5-2-2, 3rd Place Trophy Rides 3-6-0, and 4th Place Moe’s 0-8-1.
• Boys U18 – Buffalo Wild Wings picked up their 2nd win of the season 2-1 over EWE. 1st Place Beds Plus 6-0, 2nd Place Buffalo Wild Wings 2-4, and 3rd Place E.W.E. 1-5.
