Post 10 secures a spot in the State Playoffs after defeating Morehead City Post 46

Wilmington Post 10 advances to State Playoffs after winning a best of 5 series against Morehead City.
The final game of the series was held Saturday after Wilmington Post 10 picked up the 8-6 win. Gary Brooks picked up the win on the mound for Post 10, while Kenny Lanier got the save. With the win Post 10 was able to secure a spot in the State Playoffs with the win. However before the State Tournament begins Post 10 and Whiteville Post 137 will have to play a best of 3 series to determine seeding. Regardless of the outcome both teams will be representing Southeastern North Carolina in the Tournament. Game times are: Wednesday at 7PM at Buck Hardee Field, Thursday at Whiteville Post 137, and game 3 if necessary at Whiteville Post 137.
