Pleasure Island Soccer: Action heats up as Teams enter their 5th Week in the 2012 P.I.S.A. Fall Rec League

This past weekend’s results were:
• U7 Girls – Island Gazette kicked off the day and were able to remain undefeated with a 4-0 record after defeating Jungle Rapids by a 4-0 shutout. In the 2nd game Ribbet was able to improve to 2-2 on their season after they defeated Blue Tone Media 4-1. In the final game Signal was able to remain just 2-points behind the Island Gazette after their 5-0 shutout over Victory Awards & Trophies.
• U7 Boys – Superior Auto and Rent a John were both unable to score on the other teams defense leaving this game tied at 0-0. In the 2nd game Island Tackle & Hardware was able to pick up their 1st win of the season 5-2 over Buffalo Wild Wings. In the final game Tumblegum 2 was able to remain perfect on their season at 4-0 after they defeated C.B.P.D. 6-2.
• U8 Girls – Chick-Fil-A improved to 2-0-1 on their season after defeating Masonboro Family Medicine by a final score of 7-2. In the 2nd game Beach Charms and Kates Pancake House finished in a 2-2 tie.
• U8 Boys – Michaelangelos was able to pick up their 1st win of the season 6-1 over Michael’s Seafood. In the 2nd game Above & Beyond Wireless was able to pick up a close win over Kidsville News 4-3.
• U9 Girls – Got 31 Bags was able to pick up their 1st win of the season improving to 1-1-1 on their season after they defeated Seahawk Soccer Camps 5-0. In the 2nd game Crossfit of Carolina Beach stay unbeaten picking up their 4th win 7-1 over Pleasure Island Insurance.
• U9 Boys – September 25th – E2A was able to remain undefeated after their 4-1 win over El Cazador. In the other game Brush Dental improved to 3-1 on their season, after defeating Uncle Vinny’s 10-2. September 29th – El Cazador improved to 2-2 on their season after they defeated Uncle Vinny’s 6-2. In the final game E2A improved to 4-0 after they defeated Pleasure Island Rentals 7-1.
• U10 Boys – Wilmington Lawn was able to improve to 1-0-1 on their regular season after their 4-2 win over Masonboro Family Medicine. In the other game Coastwalk Real Estate improved to 2-1 on their season after picking up the win against Carolina Pediatric.
• U11 Girls – WHITE – Constructive Building Solutions was able to pick up their 2nd win of the season after a close game against Starling Marine. In the 2nd game ZIP ZAP got a little pay back from a earlier season loss against Wethrill Family Dentistry winning the 2nd show down 6-2.
• U11 Girls – RED – Admiral’s Quarters was able to sneak into 2nd Place after picking up the 1-0 shutout over Papa John’s. In the 2nd game Fuzzy Peach was able to stay perfect at 4-0 after they defeated Subsurface Support 6-1.
• U12 Boys –Andy’s Cheeseburgers’ improved to 2-1 on their season after they defeated Quench Gum by a score of 7-2. In the other game State Farm – David Ward were able to stay perfect at 4-0 on their season after there 6-2 win over Krazy Kones.
• U14 Girls – Patient Care of Wilmington was able to remain unbeaten with a 4-0 record after their 3-1 win over Seacoast Engineering. Sweet Bliss won their 1st game of the season 5-1 over Carolina Sports Medicine. Brush Dental was able to remain just 2-points behind Patient Care of Wilmington for 1st Place after their 1-0 win over 3rd Place Above & Beyond Wireless. The Wilmington Police Rec. Association was able to improve to 2-1-1 on their season after their 4-1 win over Feisol Tripods.
• U15 Boys – Shuckin Shack was able to remain perfect with a 4-0 record after they defeated Michaelangelos 5-0. In the other game Trophy Rides was able to remain in 2nd Place with a 2-1 record after their win over Buffalo Wild Wings 6-1.
